A Special Tribute: Happy Anniversary

Ralph (Bud) & Crystal Carr


On August 29, 1947 my mom and dad were married.  They were both 18.  I am thankful for them; their love for each other; and for their Godly example.  My story certainly wouldn't be the same without the commitment that they made to each other on this date, and throughout their lives.  

Thanks mom & dad.  Lisa and I are both so grateful for your influence in our lives.

    Randy's mom is now 91 and his dad passed at age 53. At that point,they had been married 34 years. She has lived close to us since 1995. Many have asked how she is doing. In June of this year, she fell and broke her hip. She had been living in a residential care home, but she is now in a skilled nursing facility about two miles from us. While her recovery has been slow, her spirits are generally good and several helpers have called her "their favorite". The COVID-19 restrictions have added challenges to her care, but we have seen God provide and are grateful for his faithfulness. Thanks for your prayers and concern.
